MHAO 2010 Stallion Service Sale
Bid Form
To bid on a stallion's service, complete this form and
mail it to:
MHAO
Cindy Duckworth
24600 Evergreen Rd
Philomath, OR 97370
Terms and conditions: Bids MAY NOT be postmarked
prior to Feb.15, 2010. The qualifying bid with the earliest
postmark of Feb.15 or later will win the service. All
bidding ends December 31, 2010. Please note that the
deciding factor is the POSTMARK date not the date that the
bid is received. Do NOT use commercial carrier such as
FedEx, Airborne Express, etc. or express mail. In the event
that two bids have the same postmark date, Morgan Horse
Association of Oregon members will receive preference over
nonmembers. In the event of a further tie, a winner's name
will be pulled randomly from a hat. Bidders will be notified
by e-mail or telephone and if successful will have seven
calendar days to send a check for the service to the
Association. If a check is not returned within seven days,
the service will be offered to the next postmarked bid.
Successful bidders will be required to sign a stallion
owner's breeding contract and pay any applicable fees.
The MHAO Stallion Service Sale (MHAOSSS) is committed to
promoting the Morgan Horse Breed and supporting its members
by making available to qualified bidders, Morgan stallions
whose owners have agreed to donate a breeding to the MHAOSSS
for the prevailing winning bid. The MHAOSSS expressly
recommends and cautions potential bidders to review all
available information prior to the bidding process. The
MHAOSSS makes every effort to ensure accuracy in its
offerings, but cannot and will not substantiate the details
or condition of stallions offered. Breeding contracts (to
cover such items as collection fees, shipping fees, and
attendant arrangements) as supplied by stallion owners are
provided to the successful bidder for execution and
completion of the auction event process. All subsequent
arrangements and undertakings are between stallion owner and
successful bidder ONLY. The MHAOSSS is an avenue for the
purchase of a stallion service, and shall not be held liable
for any breach of contract, dispute, or other
dissatisfaction. All sales are final. The Association
strongly urges all potential bidders to contact the stallion
owners directly to learn more about the breeding terms
before placing a bid. No service purchased through this
benefit sale may be transferred without written permission
of the stallion owner. Breeding contract will be sent when
purchase is complete.
