<![if !supportNestedAnchors]><![endif]>Stalls:  fairgrounds to upgrade 40 stalls this year. they will help shoulder the burden of cost we returned the $2000 savings we were to get to assist with this cost.  Change in charities this year - UPHA Pink Ribbon Day - proceeds to go to: Susan G Koman Foundation.  Les Schwab may be a corporate sponsor with us.  There is a calling committee that will start calling soon to gather sponsorships:  Sally Green, Ann Robitaille, Anna Lowden.  Remember - NO packaged sponsorships.  Tim Arcuri will be helping to try to obtain advertising from big barns throughout the states.

<![if !supportNestedAnchors]><![endif]>Different prizes:  go back to cash awards, "feed scoop basket" awards, neck championship garlands.  Need to collect any promotional materials to go into the "feed scoop" awards - by May if going to put them into the packages.  Ann is working on sponsorships for OMC.  Top sponsorhip package is a $500, lowest is $50.  had difficulty getting a dressage judge - finally contracted small "r" judge, Frances O'Reilly from Vashon Island.

<![if !supportNestedAnchors]><![endif]>Phil gave Cindy a template for previous budget's.  Cindy has plugged in numbers for the first 3 quarters of last year.  She has sent it out to the other members of  the committee to review.  Should be finished by next meeting.  Goal will be to have a projected budget to be approved by the board at each November meeting.  That way we go into each new year with our working budget set - anything above and beyond the budget will require board approval.

<![if !supportNestedAnchors]><![endif]>Several fund raising ideas/opportunities have been presented.  1.  Diana's cousin does digitizing and sublimationg of designs on items to be sold for fundraising.  Marli brought multiple items (luggage tags to mouse pads and cutting boards) that she did with the Far West logo as examples.  2.  The vests purchased for the Expo are really nice and would make a great sale item for the club.  Chris appointed committee to organized our fundraising options.  Need to take a look at whether we take orders for items or do we order and keep a stock; how do we sell items; what percentage of markup; etc…
